Loctite 640 is a medium-viscosity anaerobic retaining compound for press-fit and slip-fit cylindrical parts such as bearings, bushings, and sleeves on shafts. It fills gaps up to 0.007 in, handles temperatures up to 400°F, and gives more working time before it fixtures.
